Mindsera Turns Two

Celebrating with new journaling tools to help your mind flourish.

Mindsera officially launched two years ago today, on March 16th. It’s been an incredible journey so far, and we’re only just getting started.

This past year has been especially meaningful. Our team has grown, we’ve built Mindsera 2.0 based on your feedback (a massive undertaking!), and we’ve remained fully independent. That means we’re free to focus entirely on building the best journal in the world—answering only to you, our users.

And to celebrate, we’ve got some surprises for you below.

Big update: 'Conversational Mode'

Instead of just generating a single follow-up question, the 'Go Deeper' button now reflects on your text, connects it to your past journal entries, and helps you dig deeper.

Conversational mode makes journaling more interactive, creating a more dynamic and engaging experience.

You can also switch to the legacy mode if you prefer a simple question-only prompt, just like before. We’ve also updated the dashboard, replacing the three static prompts with three dynamic topics, making it easier to start a new entry with a specific focus.

🎨 Personalize it

You can tailor the output by adjusting the tone, perspective, and length of the responses.

Use custom instructions to define unique behaviors, knowledge areas, or response styles—going beyond basic customization. If your native language isn’t English, you can specify that responses should match the language you journal in.

Another big update: Smarter Minds

Mind comments now give you more control and better feedback. Here’s what’s new:

  1. You can now choose when to ask Minds for comments—typically after writing your entry, when you know which Minds might offer the most relevant insights.
  2. Minds will now have more context from your writing, leading to higher-quality comments.

Start with your own thoughts, explore deeper in conversational mode, and then invite Minds to scan your entry and leave insightful feedback.

Three levels of journaling with Mindsera:

  1. Reflect alone — you write your thoughts.
  2. Reflect together — go back and forth in conversational mode.
  3. Reflect with a group — ask Minds to leave comments on your entry.

iOS/Android app (Mindsera 3.0)

We're currently building the native Mindsera app and aim to launch it within the next couple of months—assuming no major surprises.

This mobile app marks the third major iteration of Mindsera, and we're incredibly excited to bring it to you soon. In the meantime, you can get a native-like experience by adding Mindsera to your home screen.

Dark mode

Mindsera’s elegant Dark Mode creates the perfect atmosphere for evening reflection.
